AQ-10

MASKING · ADULT WOMEN, AFAB

CAT-Q

Camouflaging Autistic Traits Questionnaire

Built for adults who learned to hide their autism. The AQ-10 misses people who mask. The CAT-Q is the one that catches it — especially in women, AFAB folks, and late-diagnosed adults.

Common questions

Are these tests really free?

Yes. No sign-up, no email gate, no paywall. You get your score on screen the moment you finish.

Can a quiz diagnose ADHD or autism?

No. A screener is not a diagnosis. It is a data point. A high score means it is worth talking to a clinician for a full evaluation. A low score does not always rule it out — if you still feel stuck, an evaluation can still help.

Is the ASRS test accurate?

The ASRS v1.1 was built by the World Health Organization and is the most-used adult ADHD screener in research and primary care. The six-question screener flags adult ADHD with strong accuracy in published studies, but a positive screen still needs a full clinical evaluation to confirm.

What is the difference between the AQ-10 and the CAT-Q?

The AQ-10 looks for clear-cut autism traits. The CAT-Q looks for masking — the ways adults learn to hide those traits to fit in. People who mask well can score low on the AQ-10 and high on the CAT-Q. If the AQ-10 missed you and something still feels off, take the CAT-Q.

Should I see a psychiatrist after the test?

If your score is high, or if your day-to-day life is hard in the ways the questions describe, yes. A full evaluation can confirm what is going on and put a real plan together. Book an intake call with us if you are in NY, FL, or NJ.

Do my answers go anywhere?

No. These screeners run in your browser. We do not collect your answers. We do not email you a score. Your data stays on your device.

Clinical note: A score is not a diagnosis. It is a data point. These tools are a starting point for a conversation with your provider.
