Psychiatry in Motion is a Williamsburg, Brooklyn psychiatric practice led by Dr. Ahmed Al-Katib, MD, a board-certified psychiatrist (ABPN). The practice specializes in complex comorbid cases where ADHD, autism, OCD, depression, anxiety, and trauma overlap — and in burnout recovery for NYC professionals, founders, healthcare workers, and creatives.
Direct care is offered to patients in New York, Florida, and New Jersey, with telehealth available in NY and FL. The team includes Dr. Al-Katib (founder and Clinical Director), Dr. Saeed Hashem (Harvard Medical School faculty, Medical Director, joining 2026), Senior Clinical Lead PA-Cs Rebecca Spitzer and Sandra Rae, psychotherapist Celine du Tertre (NY LMHC), Practice Manager Bianca Ventura, and our therapy dog Taz.
