Insurance (NY)
In-network for Standard Care in New York: Aetna + UnitedHealthcare (includes Oscar, Optum, Oxford). Usually just your copay. More networks coming.
Out-of-network? Ask for a superbill.
After any cash-pay visit, ask us for a superbill to send your insurance. Many PPO plans pay a real chunk back.
HSA / FSA
All clinical services are HSA/FSA eligible. A $199 Letter of Medical Necessity can extend your account to qualifying wellness costs — like your gym.
CareCredit & payment plans
Spread the cost into monthly payments with CareCredit (0% APR for 6–24 months), or ask our practice manager about a payment plan. Offered before pressure, always.

Does my insurance cover visits here?
On the Standard Care pathway in New York with Aetna or UnitedHealthcare (including Oscar, Optum, Oxford) — yes, your normal mental health copay applies. Every other plan: private pay — and ask us for a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. Preview what your plan pays back here.
What's the difference between the Joint Intake and Founder's Concierge?
The Joint Intake ($650) is one evaluation with Dr. Al-Katib to build your diagnostic blueprint — then your ongoing care runs with Rebecca or Sandra at standard rates. Founder's Concierge ($1,200 evaluation, then $600/$900 follow-ups) is Dr. Al-Katib all the way through, with his direct Spruce line. One is his eye; the other is his time.
How fast can I be seen?
The honest answer: it changes week to week. That's why we don't print promises — the Intake Director calls you within 1 business day with your exact options, and you pick what works.
Can I use my HSA or FSA? What about CareCredit?
Yes to both. All clinical services are HSA/FSA eligible. CareCredit spreads costs into monthly payments at 0% APR for 6–24 months, and payment plans are available — just ask.
Are there fees beyond the listed prices?
The full fee schedule above is everything. The one people miss: paperwork completed outside your visit time is billed at $200/hour — forms done during your visit are simply part of your care. We never bill surprise fees.
Do you accept Medicaid or Medicare?
Not currently. If you're on either plan, NYC's community mental health resources are a real option, and your primary care provider can refer you — we'd rather point you somewhere good than leave you stuck.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes — video visits in New York and Florida. New Jersey patients see Sandra Rae, PA-C. And Founder's Concierge supports worldwide one-time consultations.
